Job Description: 

A Mechanical Engineer has specific duties and responsibilities they are expected to perform and excel in these include:

• Developing technical plans based on research ideas
• Carrying out surveys on equipment and various mechanical systems
• Presenting design plans to Managers and clients
• Producing technical documents that the company requires
• Conducting product testing
• Overseeing quality control programmes and overall maintenance in a facility
• Collaborating with Project Managers and developing accurate accounting of all engineering hours required for various types of internal projects
• Mechanical and plumbing installs

Requirements

• Proven experience as a water engineer
• Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills
• Plumbing qualification
• Experience in healthcare settings
• Demonstrable ability to use a variety of testing equipment
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Good physical condition
• Flexibility to work some overtime if required
• Valid driving license
